A Silent Voice Movie Review Over the years we've seen anime movies that touched multiple subject matters. Ones set during World War 2, One about a widowed mother who tries raise 2 children by herself and ones that even have an environmental message them. However there’s one subject matter that doesn't get talked about very often. That being disability. Well there was My Sister Momoko but it never got released in the west. But in 2016 we got a new movie that tackles this subject. A Silent Voice, based on a manga of the same name by Yoshitoki Oima and directed by Naoko Yamada, is one that addresses deafness aswell as abuse and depression. So it's one that a lot of people can relate to. But to fully understand here’s my review of A Silent Voice. Story T he movie is centred on two protagonists.
